Alex Shippy, DC, DIBCN

Dr. Shippy was born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. He moved to Florida to attend Florida State University (FSU) where he received his bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. Dr. Shippy has diverse experience in exercise research, all in-patient hospital departments, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, and personal caregiving. After reflecting on his healthcare experience and time as a certified personal trainer, he decided to expand his care to others as a chiropractor. Dr. Shippy received his doctor of chiropractic degree with summa cum laude distinction and as the valedictorian of his class at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Shippy is boarded in chiropractic neurology by the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology. Dr. Shippy is certified in animal chiropractic and electrodiagnostic medicine.

Aside from furthering his knowledge and skills in the chiropractic profession, Dr. Shippy enjoys studying neurology, cognitive science, computational science, spirituality, holistic healthcare, yogic science, and most importantly... life.
